This tutorial will show you how to get products from a selected category to show up on your home page.

If you have existing products, skip to this step

First, open your admin panel and click on Catalog, manage products

Next, click on Add Product

Under New Product, use the defaults by immediately pressing continue

Enter Your Product Details

Press Save and Continue Edit

Enter your price information then press save and continue edit

Follow the instruction in the boxes below

For Existing Product Start Here. You can check off as many products as you'd like.

If you would like more than one category, simply repeat the above code with each category ID you wish to display

That's it, launch your home page. All of the products in the category you selected should show up.
